I wish to make an application for groups of users access to a particular time have eg 08:00 to 12:00. Mon-Fri

Clearly, I need a calendar view in the Administrator, the periods can be easily entered.

Can anyone give a tip anyone there?

It seems you are asking about creating a system which users have access to based on time of day. Also, it seems you want a front end calendar to handle editing users time permissions easily. Is this a correct assumption?

As for your calendar, you may want to search through the javascript classes site, or consider the jquery calendar for your front end calendar option at the fullcalendar.io site.

The original poster needs something that takes care of time spans of part of a day, not ranges of days.

If it is only to display the schedule to your users, then this class is my recommendation. You actually create the schedule using simple xml without an admin interface.

Well you could use this class for managing and display a calendar marked with specific days but it seems to not manage time periods during the day. You may need a more detailed class for that.
